Each of us is a soul on a journey of soul evolution. The Earth Plane is a school of life. We are all here to learn our own chosen life lessons through experiencing life on the Earth Plane so that we can attain soul growth and evolve to higher consciousness.

The Earth Plane is ruled by human emotions, and the Self-part of us resides in emotion and stays with the physical body. The only purpose and role the Self plays is for survival. The Self lives in negative thinking and emotions such as fear, anger, hate, jealousy, judgment, guilt, shame, control and dominance. As such, whenever the Self senses its comfort and security being threatened or in danger, it will use its’ all mighty power to dictate to the mind, cloud the inner voice and to sabotage each soul from learning their own chosen life lessons and achieving their destiny. On the other hand, the Higher Self part of us is the Divine spark of God – the Divine source. It resides in the center of our heart. It is the direct intimate connection of the soul to the God source. It does not have any fear, anger or other negative thoughts and emotions. It knows that everything is perfect in the Universe and everything happens for a reason. It has all the answers for what the soul needs to do and where to go for its highest good. All we need to do is to connect to the Higher Self part of us, listen to our heart, follow our inner voice, and it will guide and lead us to fulfill our destiny step by step.

This affirmation is designed to assist you to focus on connecting to your Higher Self. By saying this affirmation, you are consciously working on learning to tame the Self, learning to recognize the Self and not allow the Self to sabotage you. Then, only then, can you achieve soul growth and move into higher vibration and consciousness.  It may not happen overnight, but slowly and surely, you will see the change. You can repeat the affirmation as many times as you wish. The more you say it, the more positive change will take place in your life, and the more positive reality you can manifest in your life.
