An Openheartedness of Love-Light
Reputation is what people think we are.
Persona is what we want people to think we are.
Character is what we think we are.
An openheartedness radiating love and shining light is what we are.
When others soil our reputation or attack our character, they are not exactly judging or hurting us but merely ideas of what we are. When others disrespect or disparage us, no one is really being judged or hurt other than those imaginary versions of what we are.
The more we get to know what we are, the less energy we would waste on maintaining a persona and worrying about how others might perceive us, soil our reputation or attack our character. The more we get to know what we are, the more we want to honour ourselves and enjoy the simplicity and beauty of being what we are.
As and when life does get challenging or topsy turvy, which in this earth school of soul learning it invariably would at least every once in a while, it is merely a sign or wake-up call that we must return to being what we are rather than what we are not.
Although we cannot be our real self all of the time, and nobody can, at least we know the solution is always there as and when we need it. Once we know how to return to being our real self as and when we need to, regaining our balance whenever we feel out of sorts is really not so different from our daily basic routine of drinking water to quench our thirst or eating some food to relieve our hunger.
Just as the biggest lies are those we tell ourselves, the most insidious judgment is the one we have toward ourselves. And how harshly we judge ourselves is how hard it would be to reopen our heart and rediscover our real identity. Judgment is also a form of violence, albeit a very subtle and non-physical one. And as our self-violence ceases so will our projection of violence without.
Being our real self is physically liberating because as love-light there is nothing in this phenomenal world that can threaten our existence, survival or security.
Being our real self is emotionally fulfilling because it allows us to be truly authentic.
Being our real self is mentally freeing because it allows us to simply flow with our authentic being.
Being our real self is spiritually healing because it allows us to return to and immerse ourselves in our natural state of peace and bliss.
Last but certainly not least, being our real self is the one and only way that we can ever partake of heaven while on earth and make heaven out of earth.
