I did my initial Master’s Course with Margaret and Maitreya in March of 2004. On about the third day of the course, Maitreya gave us some recommendations to live by, or should I say try to live by. The second recommendation was, “Never Judge Another.”  At the time, I didn’t have a clue about who I was, or what my lessons and challenges were. After looking into my astrology and doing some truthful introspection, I realized that the “Judgment” recommendation had my name written all over it. I must admit that I still have a lot of work to do on this trait.

I’m reminded of the saying, “Don’t criticize someone until you’ve walked a mile in his/her shoes.” Metaphysically speaking, those shoes would contain all of the individual’s past live energy, so it would be impossible to fully comprehend their experience on a soul level. As Maitreya pointed out to me once, even if someone chose the same life lesson as you, the past life energy that they would need to conquer would be totally unique to them. You may work through a lesson with ease, whereas it could be a major issue for them. Don’t judge them, for you are not walking in their fear; it is unique to them.

I must admit, our recent trip to India was a real judgment trap for me, because when people do things so much differently than what “YOU” are used to, it is so easy to be critical and make judgment on their actions, rather than to be the silent observer. I’m still learning, how about you?
