This report is written to help you clarify your lessons and goals, illuminate your struggles, and encourage you to move in the direction of your true purposes.

The best to you on your journey…

Chapter 1: The Moon

The placement of the Moon in your birth chart is very significant from a karmic perspective, as it indicates the accumulated karmic tendencies, both positive and negative, that you carry from your past incarnated experiences on earth.

While the Sun reveals your intended purposes and lessons for this present life cycle, the MOON represents what you have already done and developed, hence, what is instinctive and natural to you, and what you tend to do over and over again. Your childhood is also reflected in the Moon’s placement, as it is through those childhood circumstances that any unresolved past-life issues are re-stimulated.  Your subconscious predisposition is indicated by the Moon’s position.  It is the psychic imprint of the past.  The nodes of the Moon describe behavior patterns from the past, as well as delineating a direction out of outworn or overdone behaviors and habits.

Moon in Leo:

You have a deeply ingrained sense of personal dignity, and a certain magnanimity of feeling, that prevents you from acting in a petty, spiteful, or small-minded fashion.  Even when under stress you like to think of yourself as “above all that” and you may well be, but you may also have a strong subconscious need to impress others, to be thought well of, so that you withhold any less-than-noble responses and feelings you may have.  Though usually warm and sunny, you cool off considerably when your pride has been wounded and you will frequently hide your hurt from the world because of your incarnational past (in which you have been in roles of authority, position, and honor in your circle), you tend to feel that you must protect others from your own pains and troubles.  Rightly or wrongly, you subconsciously believe that “others are depending upon me, I have to put a bright face on, and not let them know I’m suffering, the show must go on!”. While people generally do, in fact, appreciate your positivity, this attitude tends to exaggerate your importance and keep others from knowing the real human being behind the smile.  Usually you have only a chosen few, a small inner circle of devoted fans and supporters, in whom you will really confide.

Previous lifetimes as an actor or entertainer are also indicated, which give you a natural gift for performing and the desire for an audience.  You are adept at dramatizing your feelings, really playing them up, and projecting your emotions for effect.  So instead of down playing your pain, at times you milk it for all it’s worth!  These histrionics may or may not be obvious to others, for you may play them out only on the stage in your mind, but certainly there is a strong habit of personalizing everything and dramatizing your emotions. You rather enjoy a bit of melodrama.

In part, you are motivated by deep subconscious memories of past glory of being the champ, the best, the star of the show and you still seek top billing, at least in some area of life. Your need to be in charge stems from this; you find yourself naturally gravitating toward leadership roles such as, head of the department or head coach, in short, the one “calling the shots”. Because of your instincts for leadership, if you are not in charge you tend to upstage the person who is, usually without even realizing what you are doing or why.  You have a knack for drawing the attention toward yourself.  You will be noticed in one way or another, and this personal recognition is very important to you.

You are extremely uncomfortable in impersonal environments, and most definitely do not want to be just a cog-in-the-wheel. Large companies where there is little room for personal expression and creativity are not for you.  You have a strong creative bent. You also see people as individuals, not functions (it’s Joe, not “the Mailman”, Caroline, not “the Secretary”). You bring warmth, color, energy, humanness, heart, and joie de vivre into whatever environment you are in.  You have a personal touch which is much appreciated.  At your best, a sense of personal honor, integrity, sincerity, and pride suffuses all that you do.

Deep within, you feel that you are someone special and that you deserve the lion’s share of life’s bounty.  You expect great things for yourself and when you are willing to work for them, you often excel.  But when things do not work out well for you, you are often perplexed and more than a little put-out. (“How could this happen to ME?” or “How could I have gone unnoticed?”) To put it bluntly, you can be a big baby!  Learning to view things from a larger, more inclusive perspective (everything does not revolve around you), and that everyone is special, are two important lessons for you.

Moon Square Mercury:

You have a great need to understand the past, whether your own personal life history or in a larger sense as in world history or the evolution of cultures. You want and need an historical understanding of life.  You may, however, dwell on and be so immersed in memories of events that happened long ago that it colors your entire perception of the present. At its worst, this inclines you to be emotionally-biased and prejudice in your thinking, and it will be a challenge for you to overcome your tendency to project your own personal experiences and tastes upon every situation, mixing the emotional with the factual. At times, too, what you feel or are personally comfortable with conflicts with your rational understanding or stance on things. However, you may also translate this ability to blend feelings with intellect into a particularly clear understanding of the inner and subjective aspects of life and with an ability to talk or write about them quite lucidly.  A certain restlessness and sensitivity of the nervous system also accompanies this aspect.

Moon Square Mars:

Your instinct to take aggressive action, to take on challenges and to fight, has deep roots, and in terms of your current life and circumstances it may well work both for and against you.  If you find that your personal life is stormy and conflicted or that people at work aggravate you, it would behoove you to consider your role in the situation.  You are apt to project early and intense sibling rivalries and other unresolved competitive and angry feelings on to many situations in life (usually quite unconsciously).  You are likely to be touchy and defensive, quite sensitive to having your will and desires impeded, and the women in your life may especially be the targets for your unacknowledged anger.  There may be one woman in particular with whom you have a volatile karmic relationship, and coming to resolution with her would bring peace to many other areas of your life.  In any case, you must learn not to direct your aggressiveness on to innocent people! You do have an independent, energetic, spirited approach to life, a passion for doing and achieving, which are pluses.  To balance your emotional energies, learning and regularly practicing techniques for calming and relaxation would be very beneficial for you.  You have a tendency to burn out because you do not moderate yourself. If you are so inclined, meditating with or wearing certain stones may be an aid in this regard, including: chrysoprase, rose quartz, moonstone, and jade.

North Node in Gemini:

In your incarnational past you were devoted to ideals and principles and high-mended pursuits.  Now your growth direction is to laugh and see the humor in it all, as well as to apply your wisdom in ordinary day to day interactions.

North Node in 9th house:

Your past tendency influences your thinking and way of interacting with others on a daily basis, perhaps more than you realize.  Apply your new attitude or growth direction in the arena of your religious and philosophical beliefs and affiliations, and in developing a new and broader world view.

Moon Conjunct Pluto:

Powerful subconscious forces and emotional drives, based on the imprint of past experiences, are very much active in your current life-experience.  You now have an opportunity to bring these unresolved issues to light and to purge yourself of emotional and psychic garbage which may have lain dormant for lifetimes.  In truth you will not be able to avoid this process. Your relationship to your mother, your children, or other key women in your life are most likely to trigger these deeply imbedded patterns.  You may have very intense emotional attachments with strong feelings of jealousy and/or fears of loss and betrayal which stem from earlier losses.  You may have faced the death of someone close to you at an early age, for instance. For this reason also you are particularly susceptible to emotional blackmail and manipulation through guilt or threats of abandonment (or be prone to employing such methods yourself when feeling threatened).

Subliminal fears of being dominated or overpowered or of misusing your own power may be a potent (though consciously unacknowledged) influence in your life.  Power fascinates you, yet you have seen the dark side of it and are thus repelled by it as well.  A deep lack of trust and the drive to survive at all costs accompanies this.  You are capable of a certain ruthlessness which may not be readily apparent on the surface. In fact, you may surprise yourself, especially in crisis situations.

Unexamined, these types of hidden fears or unhealed traumas may make you inclined to become obsessive or to act in ways that are not in your best interest.  You may find yourself reacting very vehemently and quite out of proportion to present circumstances.

However, if you cooperate with the emotional transformation and catharsis which you will periodically go through in this lifetime, you can experience a profound rebirth within yourself.

During phases of emotional upheaval in your life, beware of blaming other people or outside circumstances; instead, seek the causes within yourself.  At such times you might wish to consider wearing certain stones (or having them around you) in order to facilitate the cleansing and releasing process: amethyst, malachite, opals, or fire agates may be of some assistance.

Chapter 2: The Sun

The Sun in your birth chart represents the primary creative thrust for this lifetime, those qualities you are to develop (or further develop) and express, and your current life focus.  This may be in harmony with your instincts and your emotional habits, or along completely different lines.  The Sun represents your conscious identity in this lifetime.

Sun in Libra:

In this lifetime your guiding principle or underlying motivation is the golden mean, the ideal state of balance and symmetry, the moderate course that avoids extremes, the happy medium.

An essential aspect of your path involves bringing together and harmonizing opposing energies, finding a balance and a meeting point between them and creating bridges so that interrelationship is possible.

The concept of relationship is key, whether it is the relationship of colors in a painting, between objects on the mantel piece, between nations or between two people.  You have a highly developed sense of style or harmonious arrangement, of correct, appropriate, and beautiful relationships.  Aesthetics are very important to you in your surroundings, in people, in the manner in which things are done.  You are artful (in both the positive and negative sense) in the way you approach life.

In your personal relations you excel in the art of compromise and diplomacy.  Your subtle touch and fine tuning regarding what is needed to maintain harmony (or at least a continued flow of interaction) between the two parties serves you well in this regard.  At your best, you are thoughtful and considerate, tactful, sweet, and impeccable in your manners. You view things from a “we” perspective rather than simply I/Me. However, your desire to create unity or maintain agreeable relations inclines you to avoid stating the naked truth if you think it will be unpopular.  You may abhor conflict, and at your worst you will compromise the truth or your own integrity in order to avoid it. You can be artful in the sense of crafty, machinating, and disingenuous.  You can be charming in a manipulative way. Perhaps you do not out-and-out lie but you will prettify the truth to make it more acceptable, more palatable. Going solo is not your path in life, and because of your need for others (or at least one significant other), you may lack confidence of your own.

You are keenly aware of polarities, the yin/yang of life, and of “the other” (the other side of the coin, the other person, the other possibilities, the opposing point of view), and you have both the gift and the desire to blend the two, a synthesis which includes both opinions, in your own center. Your need for a consensus and for others’ approval, can make you indecisive, uncertain of yourself, and disinclined to make waves. But although you will accommodate and compromise a great deal, you do have a strong inner sense of fairness and balance. Reciprocity and equality in relationships are so important to you that you will usually take a stand when your sense of fairness is being violated.

An idealist at heart, it is sometimes hard for you to accept that life is not always fair and that it has its dirty side, its ugliness.  And the fact that you too have emotions and impulses that are not beautiful or “nice” is something you find difficult to accept. You tend to hold yourself as well as others to a certain code of conduct, to your ideal image of how people should be, even when this does not correlate with reality. Emotional honesty is not your strong point.  Seeking the ideal of love, harmony, and beauty and trying to live it is.  Bringing people together, acting as a moderator or working public relations utilizes your strengths. With your concern for justice, and airing both sides of an issue, law may attract you. (Any field involving art or aesthetics does also). Behind any of these choices are the questions of balance and of blending or joining opposing forces -and these are your lifelong lessons.

You tend to define yourself in terms of the other person, and can lack a strong sense of self outside of your relationship to significant others.

Chapter 3: Rising Sign

The point that was on the eastern horizon at the moment of your birth is called the ASCENDANT, or rising sign.  While the Sun describes your conscious direction and current life focus, and the Moon your subconscious predisposition and past, the Ascendant indicates a way of being that transcends and embraces past, present, and future.  It describes the way you engage and merge with the outer world and how you bring through into life the energies depicted by the Sun, the Moon, and the rest of your birth chart.  Everything is filtered through the Ascendant from an esoteric point of view.  It indicates your soul’s function and thus a key part of your destiny.

Libra Rising:

Your soul function involves establishing balance, and harmony in your world, and an awareness of beauty, of relationship, of style, and how things fit or blend together. Reconciling opposites and finding “the middle way” is your path, and the fine arts of compromise, negotiations and cooperation are key elements.  You are the dove, the diplomat, the peacemaker, the friend; partnership and personal relations are your forte.

Libra Rising and Venus in Sagittarius:

Your ruling planet, Venus, is in the idealistic and optimistic sign of Sagittarius, indicating that generosity, playful spontaneity, and a love of adventure infuse your relationships and your approach to life.  You will touch many. Part of your soul function is to spread good will, tolerance, and acceptance for many different kinds of people.  Traveling or at least moving around quite a bit in order to make connections is a part of this.  At your best you bring people together in an atmosphere of openness, friendship, and possibly learning. Beware of your tendency to be somewhat irresponsible towards others or of promising anything because it seems good at the moment (and you want to be agreeable) but which you can not or will not follow through on.  Your restlessness and love of freedom may cause you to renege on commitments or to avoid depth and “the hard stuff” in your relationships.

Chapter 4: Saturn, Your Achilles Heel

Karmically considered, the placement of Saturn in your birth chart indicates where your energetic blockages, weaknesses and fears lie, and the areas of your life where the most concentrated effort and discipline will be required to master and overcome them.  Yet it also points to the aspects of life which can become your greatest strength if you are willing to face your fears and difficulties honestly, and work with them patiently.

Saturn in Leo

You struggle with acute self consciousness and either an exaggerated sense of your own significance or a profound lack of it.  This seriousness about the self and overconcern about your dignity or how others perceive you tends to tie you up in knots, and inhibits you from expressing yourself freely especially in those areas of life that should be or at least could be playful, spontaneous fun (lovemaking, dancing, sports, creative out-pouring of any part).  Intense shyness may be a problem, especially in matters of the heart.  Your performance anxiety reflects your deep need for recognition and affirmation from the world.  However, this need is apt to be frustrated and unfulfilled until you learn to search within yourself for the truth about who you are, and discover a sense of wholeness and completeness within.  Once you gain a deep sense of yourself and your worth, the self-centeredness and constant desire for “ego-strokes” which plague you in your early years may well dissipate. At least, this is your task.

Saturn in 10th house:

Many of your challenges and tests come to you through your pursuit of professional accomplishment, power and influence in the world.  Your progress in your career may be excruciatingly slow, repeatedly blocked by setbacks. However, over time, you may well rise to a position of considerable responsibility and authority, if you know how to follow the rules and to work within the limits of the world.  Deviating from the straight and narrow or trying to take short cuts will have definite negative consequences, and in this aspect of your life the Universe is apt to be very exacting and unforgiving.  You pay for any mistakes you make, often publicly.  While others may seem to be able to fudge things or rely on luck, you simply will not be able to. Unless you pay your dues, you will not advance as you desire.

How you handle power and authority is a major karmic question for you in this lifetime.  On another level, dealing with powerful or disapproving authority figures (possibly a parent, a Boss or even an abstract one such as the government) is also indicated.  Very likely, you will have to forge your own path in life in the shadow of one of these.

Saturn Square Jupiter:

In this lifetime any tendency you have had toward over expansion or overblown aspirations is checked. Your mobility and freedom may be severely limited in some way, perhaps due to fluctuating financial circumstances, physical ailments, or unalterable personal commitments.  Many ups and downs will test your faith.

Your big challenge is to recognize and accept boundaries and limitations, while working in regular, consistent ways toward improving your life or position.  Developing patience and contentment with the process is important, otherwise you are apt to swing high and low, and to lose faith and confidence.  An attitude of “voluntary simplicity” can be helpful.

Chapter 5: The Hard Aspects

The following is a description of your MAJOR LIFE CHALLENGES, both in terms of energies you are to learn to develop and express in a positive way, and those which are the result of struggles and unresolved karmic issues which you have brought into this life.

Mercury Conjunct Mars:

One of your challenges in this lifetime is to learn to use your sharp intellect and quick tongue in ways that are constructive and beneficial to you and those around you.  At your worst you can be verbally abusive, overpowering others with your intellectual arguments or criticism, and create enormous animosity and ill will in the process.  Try not to bark orders or command or be so quick to turn all of you encounters into an opportunity to prove yourself right.  You may thus gain a reputation for being pushy and quarrelsome which certainly will not work in your favor.  The hard-shell approach generally back fires.

Certainly there are some arenas where a clear, sharp intellect and the ability to state your opinions forcefully are an asset, courtroom law, for instance, or in certain academic climates and pursuits.  Confrontation, self-assertion, and expressing anger does have its place, but when you are out of balance with this energy you can experience severe headaches, accident proneness (especially those involving travel, sharp instruments or breaking glass), nervous tension, and, as implied above, discordant relations with people.

It would be helpful for you to learn and regularly practice deep breathing and relaxation techniques to calm your nervous system.  Wearing or carrying certain gemstones may facilitate this also, such as rose quartz, jade, emerald, peridot, or chrysoprase.  More than anything, however, awareness is the key. Rather than blaming the outside world for things that irritate you, look instead at your own penchant to be argumentative and irritated.  If you can harmonize this aspect of your nature, you will evolve a brilliance and clarity of mind, along with the energy and decisiveness to act on your creative ideas.

Mercury Square Pluto:

You have a penetrating, incisive mind which cuts through surface appearances to the deeper, underlying heart-of-the-matter. Your perceptions and profound insights border at times on being truly uncanny, for you have the gift of being able to perceive the hidden content, the concealed, disguised, or suppressed aspects of a person, situation, or subject.  On a concrete level, this quality of mind impels you to be the researcher or investigator, searching out the unknown, uncovering a mystery.  Even in casual social interaction you automatically perceive others’ subconscious intentions and motives.  You are very astute psychologically.  Hence, your presence can be somewhat threatening to those who have secrets or who have much invested in the superficial and prefer not to go any deeper.

This capacity carries with it, however, challenges and pitfalls.  You may find yourself falling into a habit of mind that is suspicious, paranoid, cynical, or preoccupied with the dark underside of life, and this may skew your entire outlook. (You may also use your considerable insight, persuasiveness, and mental power to try to manipulate others’ thoughts and actions which would inevitably bring negative karmic results.)  Verbally you can be quite cutting and hurtful.  Realize that simply speaking “the truth” without mercy or sensitivity to how your words are received, can do more harm than good.

At its worst this aspect would be expressed in a Machiavellian type of mind, utilizing your keen perception to manipulate and dominate others.

Mars Square Pluto:

In this lifetime you must confront the nature of power, and you have the opportunity to transform your relationship to power, clear away deep-seated anger and resentment, and release karmic patterns of perpetrator/victim.

If, in your past, you have been the victim of aggression, ruthless force, or misdirected male energy – you may subconsciously fear or even hate men, have great mistrust of people in power or experience problems in sexual relationships (the arena where power/fear dynamics are often most apparent). In addition, you are prone to self-repression, either of anger or of your own strength.  If you have very little energy, consider yourself a weak person, or become extremely uncomfortable when others express any anger, you may be holding down a great deal of hostility.  Or, you may be angry all of the time “for no reason”. The question of appropriate expression of these intense energies is a delicate one.  While repressing them can wreak havoc on your health and sense of well-being, you do not want to unload the deep rage of centuries on innocent people.  You may hold your anger or aggression back not only because you fear repercussions (you may have been bludgeoned to a pulp in the past), but also because you sense that whatever is triggering your emotions in the present is not the real problem.  In a word, you overreact. (Wanting to kill someone because they forgot to walk the dog is an overreaction).

On the other hand, you may carry an immense burden of guilt because you have been the one who misused your power, strength and/or sexual energies in the past.

Another way you may be expressing this energy is to be intensely and compulsively competitive, acting as if each and every event is a mighty struggle for supremacy, a contest with life or death consequences that you MUST WIN at all costs.  You may become compulsively active and productive and driven to “succeed” at all costs.  This type of thinking and being creates great stress on your physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies. Very likely it will also have a negative impact on all of your relationships.  You will make a lot of enemies and actually force people to turn against you and bring you to your knees. Ruthlessness attracts ruthlessness.

Coming into balance with all of this is a major challenge. Finding a safe place to explore your war-like, destructive, and sadistic self can help.  Another key is becoming sufficiently detached so that you can feel and acknowledge all of these energies, and choose when and how to express them without being “taken over” by them. If you are willing to become conscious, you can actually become a great force for good, and can heal and release some very deep wounds you have carried for a long time.

Uranus is Retrograde:

All of the above is complicated by the fact that in prior times, you experienced great personal instability as a result of impersonal, collective impulses toward change (during a time of revolution, political upheaval, war, etc.).  You may well have been an agent of these movements, with a lingering inclination toward radical solutions, extremism, flauntingly disregarding social mores.  Or you may have become a reactionary, fearing and resisting all reforms or departures from the “main stream”.  It is thus difficult for you to be balanced and fair towards any eccentricities (in others or even in yourself).  A misuse of science or technology, perhaps participating in experiments which were harmful to you or others, is also indicated.  Thus, you may have a deep distrust of or an attraction/repulsion toward science and technological advancement.

Chapter 6: Soft Aspects

The following is a description of your GIFTS and STRENGTHS which can help you work with your major life challenges. These are abilities and qualities of heart, mind, and soul which are quite natural to you.  You probably take them for granted. Because these represent the lines of least resistance for you, you may rely too much upon them at times; hence, there are some cautions suggested.  Still, these are the areas where good flows into your life and/or where you have considerable inner resources.

Sun Trine Uranus:

You tend to be a little different, and just a bit ahead of the pack, and are not one to bow to tradition for tradition’s sake or to cling to old, outworn customs or methods.  Your strengths are your penchant for originality and invention, your creative spirit, and your ability to sense future developments before they happen.  You are one of the avant-garde, and embrace the new long before it becomes popular or accepted by society at large.  As such, you may be seen as an outsider or a threat to more cautious individuals or institutions, but this is not likely to trouble you much.  As long as you are free to act as your own heart dictates, you will be quite happy without the support of the conservative element.  Your courage and your willingness to be unique and to be yourself in all circumstances is part of your gift to life, as you encourage others to be true to themselves and not one of the sheep. Another strength you possess when meeting challenges is knowing when to move, when to let go of the secure and make a change for the better even amidst uncertainty and a lot of unknowns.

Saturn Sextile Neptune:

You have distilled wisdom through the disciplines and willing sacrifices you have made in your incarnational past. Now, it is relatively easy for you to appreciate simplicity and to enjoy the peace of mind that comes from detachment from too many material “needs” and wants.  You have also developed the capacity to accept discipline, personal sacrifice, and self-denial as an intrinsic part of attaining meaningful goals.  Accepting limitation and imperfection as unavoidable aspects of life, you pursue your ideals and dreams without either being naive and foolishly optimistic, or giving up on them entirely.  This balance of practicality and idealisms is a true gift, though one that you may easily overlook in yourself since it is not very glamorous or “special”.
