We have just made our donation to St. Jude’s hospital; we made a decision this year to donate the money we would have spent on gifts to each other to St. Jude’s. I wish we could donate more, but at least we made a donation. My granddaughter Jamie-Leigh is now in remission from Leukemia, and had a wonderful Christmas with her family, and her new dollhouse. It could have been different though as she was diagnosed on her 7th Birthday, and immediately transferred from Darwin to Adelaide with shocked parents and a brother very upset. Then followed a year and a half of injections, chemotherapy, losing her hair, constant tiredness, we would call her to talk and she would be so tired, she would be in bed in the middle of the day! As an astrologer I could see she could pass over, she had to make the choice to stay or go, and underwent a surgery which was very risky, only a few children had survived it. My son and his wife called Alan and I at 4am in the morning in the USA and told us if the surgery failed, they would not keep her on life support. (She had her palate of her mouth and some of her nose removed due to mold (mould for Aussies)).
She was ill for days but chose to come back; she lost her two front adult teeth and a plate was made for her mouth, and she slowly recovered. Although it was in her birth chart and transits, no parent or grandparent should have to go through that. This year two years after she got sick she finished her chemotherapy, and a few weeks ago finished the medicine for her immune system, she is now officially in remission; but she still faces surgery to correct her palate and nose, and her face is scarred from the drugs she had to take, although it is getting better, it is a slow process.
Through it all in Australia, Camp Quality and The Starlight Foundation supported the family and Jamie, even her brother Ashley, and McDonalds housed them for free and provided many free meals. People are quick to condemn McDonalds, but their Ronald McDonald Foundation and their houses around Australia do a wonderful job of housing the parents who have to travel long distances as Jamie and her parents did from Darwin in the Northern Territory to Adelaide, South Australia. My son and his wife, Jamie’s parents went through hell and back and for a long time were separated as one parent stayed in Darwin looking after Ashley and the other parent was in Adelaide! Although as an astrologer and metaphysical teacher and knowing what I knew about her life path, it still upset me to see my granddaughter so ill, and her brother so concerned over his sister, not to mention the concerns of my son and his wife.
Our donation today was gratitude for her life continuing. We do not know the future, it is open to choice, but she should be OK from now on if she keeps on the upward path she is on. Her health was aided also by all of the prayers and healing which was sent to her when she was sick, there were hundreds of people sending healing and saying prayers, so thank you to all those people also. I read a book a few weeks ago by an English Medium Ursula Roberts, “Health Healing and You.” It was written in 1955 and is now a very rare find and out of print, in which she says that a new illness for children which was discovered in 1953, called Leukemia, was causing concern in the medical world; where did it come from so soon after the 2nd World War? Nobody knows but it is not new anymore. It felt wonderful to make our donation, but I wish it were more. I know also that we choose our illness in our life, and manifest it as part of our learning, but the sooner we can find a way of healing this disease the better, watching my granddaughter and looking at her photo’s when she was sick, brought home to me the severity of her situation. Thank goodness she is now well again! To me there is always a cause of illness and disease, which actually is dis-ease in the body, mind or spirit. In Jamie’s case I found the cause and because of that, steps were taken to change the situation, which had created it, and she began to heal. I pray that one day parents with sick children will have the awareness and knowledge I had astrologically to find out the cause of their children’s illness, yes, some children are meant to pass over into the next world, but it can still help to know the reason, past life or not. Astrology especially for children can be a wonderful source of knowledge for parents to help them with their children’s health.
My son and his wife are not the only ones with a child with health problems, my youngest daughter and her husband have 3 children who also have health problems, quite serious ones also. My oldest daughter has recently been diagnosed with Breast Cancer also, but thanks to Astrology I am more informed about their health problems, where they come from and the fact they will be all right for the future. If you have children, you could do nothing finer than have a birth chart done on their life, it is worth every cent (and they are not expensive) I did mine recently, and I would have not been such a sensitive child and even more sensitive adult had I known what I found in my birth chart as a child! I am so blessed to have studied astrology and to be as aware as I am of dis-ease and where it comes from.
